So many absolutely awesome replies. It is refreshing to hear so many people denounce hatred between the two Slavic nations. When I was visiting my cuz at the '18 world cup, every time we met a Polish person, he would ask me to see how they like Russia (because the assumption was that Poles hated us). Every single person said they were truly impressed with everything, especially the people. Look, there are pieces of #### in every culture. I'm Russian and have many Polish and Ukranian friends here in the states. The governments are a different story... my fiance and I are currently working on a K1 visa, the processing of which has been moved to Poland, and precisely because of the two nations' hostility towards each other (foreign policy), we will have a difficult time getting her there. I can't say it is true actually many people from Poland like Russia and many people from Russia like Poland for example me as russian thinks that russian and polish cultures are similar in some things.
